1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you provide to us
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register for an account, use the Services, or contact us. This includes:
Account information: name, email address, password, and vendor ID
Profile information: carrier and company associations (for admin users), role assignment
Messages: content of in-app chat messages between drivers and carrier administrators
Support requests: information you provide when contacting support or submitting forms through the portal
Information collected automatically
When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:
Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, push notification tokens, browser type, IP address, mobile carrier, and hardware model
Usage data: pages and screens viewed, actions taken within the app (such as claiming or releasing appointments, confirming pickup or delivery), timestamps, and feature usage patterns
Location data: precise GPS coordinates, speed, heading, altitude, battery level, and device activity type (walking, driving, stationary). See Section 2 for full details on location tracking.
Crash and diagnostic data: error reports, stack traces, and performance metrics collected via Firebase Crashlytics
Appointment data: appointment claim history, pickup and delivery confirmations, status changes, and timing records
Queue data: location queue entries, queue position, and expiration times
Notification data: notification delivery records and read status
Sensitive information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, biometric data, or health information. Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment partner (see Section 5) and we do not store payment card details.
2. Location data and background tracking
Location tracking is a core function of the Lickety platform. We want to be transparent about how it works.
What location data we collect:
Precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude)
Timestamp of each location update
Speed, heading, and altitude
Location accuracy and whether the device is moving
Battery level and charging state at the time of each update
Device activity type (stationary, walking, driving, etc.)
How we use location data:
Calculate distance remaining and estimated time of arrival to pickup or delivery locations
Determine your on-time status color (green, yellow, or red) by comparing distance against the remaining delivery window
Share your real-time location and status with shippers, receivers, and carrier administrators via the portal and mobile admin app
Display your location on public shipment tracking pages (see Section 6)
Send you push notifications when your status changes to "at risk"
Store location history for operational and troubleshooting purposes
For full functionality, location must be set to "Always Allow." Setting it to "While Using" or "Never" will limit or disable tracking features.
3. How do we process your information?
We process your personal information for the following purposes:
Account management: to create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and maintain your session
Service delivery: to match drivers with appointments, calculate routes and ETAs, track delivery status, manage queues, and process pickup and delivery confirmations
Real-time monitoring: to calculate and display status colors, send at-risk alerts, and broadcast location updates to relevant stakeholders via WebSocket
Communication: to deliver in-app chat messages between drivers and carriers, send push notifications about appointments, queue updates, and status changes, and respond to support requests
Payment facilitation: to coordinate payment holds and releases with our third-party payment partner during the appointment lifecycle
Shipment tracking: to generate and serve public tracking pages that display appointment status and limited driver information to tracking link recipients
Safety and security: to detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and abuse of the Service
Analytics and improvement: to understand usage patterns, diagnose errors, and improve the Service
Legal compliance: to comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, and enforce our Terms of Service
4. When and with whom do we share your information?
The Lickety platform connects multiple parties in the freight delivery process. Your information is shared in the following ways:
Between users of the platform
Drivers → admins: When you claim an appointment as a driver, your name, email, real-time GPS location, status color, distance remaining, and ETA are visible to receiver, shipper, and carrier administrators associated with that appointment
Admins → drivers: Company names, facility addresses, and appointment details (pickup/delivery windows, locations) are visible to drivers who browse or claim appointments
Chat messages: Messages sent through the in-app chat are visible to both the driver and the carrier administrator in the conversation
With third-party service providers
We share information with the third-party services listed in Section 5 to operate the platform. These providers process your data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it.
Via public tracking links
Limited appointment and driver information is accessible to anyone with a tracking link. See Section 6 for details.
Business transfers
We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
Legal requirements
We may disclose your information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
